New Discovery
Posted April 16th, 2012 by adminDear Lloyd:
I have just discovered your blog and youtube videos, and I am very thankful that I did.
I just graduated with a certification in Whole Health Education, and as I send out job inquiries as well as being employed at a hospital, I am continually amazed at the ignorance many health care professionals have about alternative therapies. My husband is a triple-organ transplant patient who has benefited from many supplements I was able to recommend, but the resistance from the medical community is truly alarming.

Subject: test results
Hi Lloyd,
Just
received my test results from earlier in the week, thought you might be
interested. This is the second negative test in 5 months so I believe I
can cut back on treatment at this time although I will continue to take
milk thistle, alpha lipioc, NAC, and green tea Max V. The doctor
recommended that I take omega three fish oil for elevated cholesterol.

A Short Happy Life or a Long Miserable One
Posted February 6th, 2012 by adminJoli sent a message using the contact form at http://lloydwright.org/messages/contact.
Hi Lloyd,
I
no longer feel alone or crazy when I claim that interferon absolutely
ruined my life. I have been on several antidepressant combinations to
no avail. I took peg interferon with Ribovirin April 2002-2003. I
have never been the same. I have told family, friends, doctors,
psychiatrists, counselors ect...that I have lost my personality, ability
to think and even my spirit to this medicine.

Every Good Doctor Must Represent the Patient:
Posted January 13th, 2012 by adminThe Malfunction of Evidence-Based Medicine
by Daniel L. Scholten
(OMNS, Jan 3, 2012) What follows is an innovative new paper that we feel deserves publication. We concede that this article is a stretch for OMNS in both size and content. However, the nonstandard but thought-provoking aspects of this work need to be presented and we choose to let our readers read or delete. - Andrew W. Saul, OMNS Editor.
Evidence-Based Medicine: Neither Good Evidence nor Good Medicine
Posted December 21st, 2011 by adminby Steve Hickey, PhD and Hilary Roberts, PhD
(OMNS, Dec 7, 2011) Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is the practice of treating individual patients based on the outcomes of huge medical trials. It is, currently, the self-proclaimed gold standard for medical decision-making, and yet it is increasingly unpopular with clinicians. Their reservations reflect an intuitive understanding that something is wrong with its methodology. They are right to think this, for EBM breaks the laws of so many disciplines that it should not even be considered scientific. Indeed, from the viewpoint of a rational patient, the whole edifice is crumbling.
