*Latest ALT 41!!!!! (since diagnosis in Dec, with ALT at 97...!!  Have been following Lloyd's advice since Dec and taking his specific products since March!!  So, in less than 6 months, my ALT has practically normalised, thanks to Lloyd!!!  Woo-hoo!!!

I had a visit to the hepatologist recently, who tried to assure/frighten me into taking peg-int +rib by telling me that, although my 'health was good and ALT now basically normal (41), I could deteriorate quickly and no longer be a good candidate for "treatment"' if I didn't sign on to start the drugs soon (in Sept)...!?  It was 'hilarious!' (but, I wasn't laughing....!!!) 

He had nothing to say about the awesome liver enzymes...!?!  I told him I attributed their improvement to the supplements I was taking!  He just shrugged, stifled a chuckle, and smiled politely in a way that meant, 'You're a misguided idiot!'  Then, he went on to say that my numbers indicated that  I'd be a good candidate for 'treatment'  now.

I really wanted to tell him what an ass he was for trying to bully me into taking something that he knew damn well was going to do me a lot of harm, and not necessarily 'cure' me of the virus!!  But - instead I just sat there and smiled politely, and thought, 'You're the misguided idiot in the room, Buddy!'

Just as Lloyd said, the docs would try to frighten me...!!!  It was all so predictable, disillusioning, and ....infuriating!!!

Thank goodness for Lloyd!
