I found this looking for information on long term side effects for the treatment of Hep C.  My husband was in a study group in 1999-2000.  Did 48 weeks of Interferon and Ribaviran. He has never been the same since.  He has chronic depression and anxiety.  Cognitively he just isn't the same.  WE have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for severe anxiety.  It has been 11 years.  Things are not better this many years later.
