Hello Lloyd,
I am writing you because i have a few questions, however I would first just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have discovered and shared with those who are traveling similar roads. Your service, your staff (Felicia in particular) are incredible. The science is made simple through the resources you offer. Then there are the meds - SO FRESH !!!.
My wife, (Dotti) 62, has had HCV since it was known as non-A, non-B (decades). She has progressed to stage 4 (chemically), though only fibrosis has been discovered tangibly through 5 biopsies over the past 10 years (last biopsy was late 2007). She is genotype 2 and has been through 3 blind studies before discovering your book. The studies should have killed her. She did the same ones you describe. The most aggressive was the 50 week Pegalated interferon w/ribovirin. She completed it like a champ. We discovered after the study that she responded more remarkable than they (Scripps - La Jolla) had ever seen. The virus was all but gone in 14 days according to their data. She knew it was back 60 days after the study ended. I am guessing that she responds well - which coincides to her look and smell and quality of life when she is on her meds (especially thymus cells) that she now gets from you. She has told her liver doctor that she absolutely will NOT be doing any more studies or take any interferon or ribovirin. Dotti also has vascular disease which is why she is on the blood pressure meds. She had a triple bypass, had her carotid artery scrubbed, and has had several stents in her legs.
. We realize now that the Nat Cell Thymus must never lapse, let alone all the other herbs and vitamins. We have also slowly migrated to a more liver friendly diet.
One thing she can't stand in the Vitamin C powder. She takes 3000mg each day originally for health and absorption, but now we have discovered just how remarkable the C is for her arterial disease. The western medicine doctors keep pushin the statins and niacin, but we refuse. Her HDLs are high (260) for their standards, but from what I understand, the HDLs are the foundation for cell reproduction and cannot be "too high". Since starting the C her LDLs are normal based on their worthless reciprocal lab tests. Liver function is close to normal. Here is my question. Do you see any sort of problem if I put the C powder into dissolving capsules? I have put the C in a variety of drinks and she hates it so much, it has come to the point where she will not consume the C. We picked the C powder originally on your recommendation years ago and see how important it is for the absorption of other meds, and now the reasons for her heart and arteries, so we have elected not to change to a C in pill form. Do you think putting the powder into capsules would impede anything?
You can put it in capsules. I have a few kinds in capsules. The best one is Ultra Absorbic C, gets 90% into your blood, most get 10% into blood.
Thank You soooo much for all of your help. Realize that all the decisions we make are mine and my wife's and are just inquiring about what your opinion might be, so thanks again for your opinion.
I feel Dotti will be just fine, and after we get past these discomforts, she will be back to life as usual.
Thank You very much,
Steve
It is always a pleasure to hear from
you,
Lloyd
