I just found your website and read the messeges from other inteferon patients, I also have been off for over a year and have 0 detection but even though it worked I am in constant pain, my RA labs are high tho the rheum. says i do not have RA, I am diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, i have no enrgy can barely work, but can't afford not to.

I have symptoms of Sjogrens, but results came back negative, I just cannot get over the pain and tiredness, I have been on every anti depressant made with no help. I am amazed and so angry to see that so many others are going through this yet no dr. tells you of it, they make you feel like it is in your head, I would love to find a site to join others to try to do something about this and maybe find a dr. in my area that understands this,,south west Ohio..thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello Cathy:

I know, it is like telling alien stories, no doctor believes this. In fact, they do, they just do not want you to know that they know that the drug they prescribed you will cause these problems. It is well studied, well published that interferon causes many side effects, everyone you mention.

The doctors do not bother to really get people to understand what is going to happen to them, they get paid to prescribe interferon so they want to minimize the side effects. Read this.

The pain you describe is usually caused by two items, one is brain damage, the other is bone marrow damage. Interferon causes both of these and I know of no cure.

Some people will get some relief with time, says schering plough, in reality, I see it get worse.

This is what you try:
Russian Choice Immune. Often some of the joint pain can be made worse because the yeast in the small intestine is over grown. This product can help reduce the pain, even make it go away.
NADH 2.5 mg once in the morning can help your neuro transmitters. These neuro transmitters are in the brain stem and they are damaged from the first shot of interferon.

There are many other things I can tell you to try but try these first, they are not expensive and well worth trying.

You can get them from most health food stores or from our hep c pharmacy.
What the people of the world need to learn is "Just Say NO to Interferon"!
Forget the doctors, they are not going to help.
