Dearest Lloyd,

~thank you~ ~thank you~ ~thank you~

My husband, Richard, (blood work faxed last week) still has major abdominal swelling.

To review briefly, Kaiser Liver Doctor said he has stage 4 cirrhosis along with the Hep C of 36 odd years. Ultra Sound shows 1/2 a liver he said. Sigh...

Richard was the one that got very very sick starting the program up and so we went to teas only for 1 1/2 weeks and have slowly started in on herbal + others capsules as you suggested. He is on Day 8 of Natcell Liver, Thymus and Mescemyne and now is feeling good in the mornings, yet his stomach is so Big. (yeah for good in the mornings! His eyes are white too!)

When we last talked to you, you suggested a Dr. Jonathan Wright in the state of Washington. We found him through the internet and his office will reopen on Jan. 2nd. We are excited to meet him as you said he understood the healing protocol.

Richard's Kaiser Doctor told me to stop asking questions and to stop going to the library and internet. (!) I was asking why Richard's stomach is so terribly swollen. Can we do something? He finally ordered an ultra sound and said he has fluid retention and to take a prescription diuretic called Spironolactone 25 mg. (generic name is Spironolactone). The possible side effects listed are: nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, muscle weakness, skin rash, slowed heart rate, it raises potassium levels, which if kidney problems or in people ill, that high potassium levels can cause death. Lovely.

Richard said drinking the teas and water puts so much pressure on his stomach. His stomach goes down some in the morning, but by evening it is Huge. He is a slender man by nature, but seeing his now thin legs and arms with this huge stomach is difficult. Richard drove and got the diuretic. He wants relief. He was told to start tomorrow morning.

Is this safe for him ????!

Richard wants relief. I asked our Kaiser doctor about draining. He told me to stop reading. He even asked if we wanted a new doctor. Why can't we ask questions without upsetting him? I have read your books, but still when it happens to you, it so bizarre-o.

What is the difference between water retention and lymphatic fluid buld-up?

Richard drinks 4 cups of dandelion tea a day mixed with licorice, and milk thistle. He stopped 4 cups of Reishi tea 2 days ago. He can barely get down 5 -6 glasses of water on top of all the teas. And he started the anti-iron pills 2 days ago. (His Kaiser Doctor said there was nothing we could do to lower his ferritin).

Have you any experience with any of the above? I have searched your website looking for answers.

What would we do without you? Thank you so much for helping us again.

I can't wait to until next year when Richard's blood work should be pretty damn good and have his Kaiser Doctor see it. I want a hidden camera! Kaiser has given Richard the death sentence. I can't wait to prove them wrong. They told me, "Stop asking questions dear and just go and be by him".

We are hoping that Dr. Johnathan Wright can do the albumin drips you suggested to get those levels up.

Thank you so much Lloyd for all you do. Thank you for your quick response to the diiuretic.

God Bless you and keep you full of peace, health and joy and love,
D.

Hi D.:

I do not like the effects of the diuretics, they vary and are often worse with hep c.

If he needs them and finds relief with them, then so be it. Usually taking Dandelion root caps, 2 to 4 3 or 4 times a day works just fine, in Canada I here they have made them a prescription for this as they are safe without side effects.

One needs to know if this swelling of the stomach is water or lymphatic fluid. Diuretics will do nothing for lymphatic fluid. Too many times this particular item is misdiagnosed by a doctor who is on auto pilot. In the condition that Richard is in this may well be lymphatic fluid and not water but I do not know. A doctor who will not answer questions is capable of making mistakes. Kaiser is the worst place on earth for liver disease, I see it all the time.

I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with a man who was worse off than Richard and he praised me, my research etc., it was all so wonderful. He had had it with doctors and feels so much better doing my stuff, his lab work is perfect. It was wonderful, he was once where you are now.

I can not guarantee what Dr. Jonathan Wright is going to do today, last I heard of him was back in 2001. We can find a good one if he is not on the right track.

Find out if this is water retention or lymphatic fluid. Let him take the diuretic but get lots of dandelion root caps and have him take them as well and try and see if they can be taken instead and offer the same relief.

Have a Healthy Happy New Year.

Lloyd
