First, Thank you for publishing your book on Hep C. It really helped lessen the load this isn't a death sentence. I found out that I had Hep C in 2001. I was 40 years old. The only drug I tried as a teenager was Marijuana. I didn't like the feeling. I did enjoy alcoholic beverages and did my share (but alcohol isn't the source of my contact with Hep C). I'm not sure when I came in contact, could have been at a Dentist office for all I know. All my readings are within normal range and remain the same.
Nevertheless, I started looking into alternative healing and found you. I also wanted to find a support group, but people were negative towards alternative ways and pushed interferon, etc. I stopped attending these support groups and consumed myself in work and trying to live a normal life. So I have continued my lifestyle of exercise, vitamins, minerals, and different herbs for wellness. I'm a vegetarian, too.
Lately, I noticed different problems and don't know if their related to Hep C or my hormones are changing (which according to lab readings they are within normal range).
1. Vertigo (this is really scary, I feel as if I've been poisoned or drugged).
2. I'm more stressed and have lost my energy (i've always been a person on the go, I use to attend two aerobic classes in the same day and work out on machines for about another 1hr. all this after an 8hr work day).
3. I've lost my desire to accomplish goals.
4. don't go to the gym any more.
5. Have no desire to pursue a relationship with the opposite sex.
6. Headaches more frequently.
7. I use to get panic attacks about 18 years ago and they have surfaced again.
8. Confusion-foggy brain at times.
Those are just a few. They all sound like symptoms of starting the change of life, but my lab readings are within normal range according to my doctor.
I'd like to start your program, but finances are tight and I know they will continue. So, what would you recommend I start with?
This email sounds like a complaining unhappy woman. I'm not this person. I have ton's of activities and goals I want to accomplish, but need the energy and clear mind to do so. Please recommend a remedy to start with and if you know a wellness doctors of some sort in the Inland Empire.
Hope you had a great Christmas (no offense-I'm catholic) and have a safe and Happy New Year!!
Looking forward to hearing from you. I appreciate all your time that you provide for the unaware heppers.
AC
Hi AC:
The symptoms you mention can and most likely are from hep c. The beginning of menopause can be slight and not show up on the tests.
My minium program will make a difference for you. You need to drink 1 quart of dandelion root tea a day. In two weeks, you should feel a difference if done with the rest of the items. Even alone, dandelion root tea can make a big difference. The liver gets to toxic to take the toxins out of the blood, the blood goes thru the brain, the toxins cross the blood brain barrier and you feel the way you describe.
Dandelion root tea will help take the toxins out of the liver and the blood.
Also take as a minimum:
Milk thistle 400 mg 3 x day
Lipoic acid 300 mg 3 x day
Selenium 400 mcg per day
Dandelion root tea, 1 quart per day.
NADH 2.5 mg per day, in the morning.
You are right about the hep c support groups, they are dominated by schering and Roach. They receive info from the American Liver Foundation and they are the Stooges of Big Pharma. I know as I also receive there BS info.
It is really ashamed that something as innocent sounding as a support group is contaminated with Drug companies and Money.
We differently need to fix the part about attraction to the opposite sex, that is most important. Liver disease often leads to depression and if you start working on your liver it will take care of this.
You have a Wonderful Healthy Happy New Year!
