My name is Heidi and I was diagnosed with Hep C this past January 31st. I just finished reading your book and feel pretty hopeful. I have the 1b genotype, and have read that is the hardest to respond the traditional treatment, anyway. I have many reasons, not to mention the horrible
side effects of traditional treatment.

Anyway, I want to know how you were able to afford to do this treatment? I know you said you struggled in your book. I really really really want to take the natural approach. I am suppose to get a liver biopsy on Monday. Do I really need it? My ultrasound was fine, supposedly. My viral count is 1,32000, which is guess it not all that bad.

However, I have horrible symptoms, and since I got the Hep a and b vaccine, I feel worse! i just got the second series yesterday. Can that make you worse? I didn't want the shot but the doctors said if I got Hep a or b on top of this I could go downhill faast. Will having these injections
alter my liver status?

Sorry to ask so many questions. I looked on your site for a chat, but didn't find one.

I am working with a D.O. is a naturopath, as well as a gastroenterologist, who is actually caring. I had to switch from the first asshole who told me to go try my herbs and come back when I was ready to treat the virus!

I will end here, even though I have so much more to talk about. I went to a support group but most people were doing traditional treatment. If you have time, can you please write back ... possibly before I have to get that biopsy. I feel like cancelling (I am terrified of needles, too)

The hepatitis A & B vaccines will raise your viral load a medium of 10 million points. It will not start to come back down for 9 months to 2 years.

That is what I see. I do my best to tell the world not to take them.

The mercury in the B vaccine has damaged your liver. These vaccines for people with hep c is a mistake. I am sorry they did this to you!

One of the strategies the medical community uses for people who refuse interferon is that they give you the vaccines and you come back in a few months, they do the viral load over again and it is up a few million from the first time you were there and they tell you that you are going to die unless you use interferon. I read it and hear it every single day of my life and I am quite frankly growing very ill from this. This medical community is into money and that seems all they car about, all they function for.

If there is a 3rd shot for the B vaccine, do not take it. Do not get the biopsy. They like biopsy prior to prescribing interferon. If you want to know the same info you can get a blood test called a Fibrosure.

Your viral load was low, it will be up after the vaccines. Do not take antibiotics, Nexium, the flu shot, avoid prescription drugs, many of them raise the viral load.

Your email is the 18th today where someone was just diagnosed with hep c and go the vaccine. Do not use interferon. You will be worse off if you do. Go here and read:

Get a Ferritin test. High ferritin is often the reasons for many symptoms.
High ferritin is easy to lower.

In the mean time take as a minium:
Milk thistle 400 mg 3 x day
Lipoic acid 300 mg 3 x day
Selenium 400 mcg per day
Dandelion root tea, 1 quart per day.

I am very sorry that those monsters made you take the hep a & b vaccine. Stay away from support groups, they are supported by schering and roach, manufactures of interferons and anyone who will profit from them.
