Hi Lloyd,

Haven't found out the total viral load yet. Hope they tested for that. I had requested it.
By phone the nurse said that:

ALT is 15 (In December 2005 it was 19). You have my November and December readings on file. November was when I was diagnosed with Hep C and ALT was at 1042.

AST is 21 (In December 2005 it was 45). November first diagnosed AST was 832.

Ferritin is 44 (range 1--232) (December Feritin reading was 445.)

Iron total is 150 ( range 35-175) December total iron was 179.

I'll let you know when I get the total viral load. I might have to go back in and have it done if they didn't request it.

Things are looking much better, right?

I have ordered the IP6 for the iron and the TLM and Thymus frozen that should be shipped to me today. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for your time and help.
Teina

Hi Lloyd,

Found out my total viral load is under 50 but they cannot give me an exact reading....they just say under 50 and they say that is normal--nurse said this. Do you think I could contact the lab my blood was tested at and find out an exact amount?

Talked with Russ on the phone yesterday. I asked him what I should be taking now that counts are normal and low. He said I should continue the program.

Should I continue program 4 or go to a lesser one? Russ said that some people quit their regimen and then their counts go back up and they wonder why.

What are your suggestions now that counts are normal except the 50 under of course.

Thanks for your time and expertise.

Hello Teina:

Under 50 is GOOD!
I would keep doing what you are doing for about 3 months.
Then I think you can cut back to:

Milk thistle 400 mg 3 x day
Lipoic acid 300 mg 2 x day
Selenium 200 mcg per day

Also take some good B vitamins and eat well.

Most people who reverse the virus on my program do not relapse.

Thank you for keeping me informed and congratulations of Beating Hepatitis C!

Lloyd
