i am at work , reading stories, re pegetron use and side effects.
my hubby will be 55 sept 3 . he had a complete liver transplant,
oct 2003. he had hep c, also liver tumor that was reason for liver
transplant. he was on pegetron, for one year, testing positive for
hep c. his final injection tested negative for hep c. by the way
he is still not working.
drs decided to put him on a low dose of pegetron. still testing
positive for hep c, they put him on a stronger dose. his mood swings
are just awful. he is irritable, very agressive, very suspicious.we
were told that in three months if the higher dose does not work,
he could come off pegetron.
s as a result, he will start t go downhill very qiclky. liver
failure is not so far down the road, he is now taking celuxa, it
is helping his moods. any info you could share with us would be
greatly appreciated.
