This is a praise report. Please stop and thank the Lord in prayer
for His faithfulness.
The doctor called us yesterday on Mark's cell phone. It was Saturday,
so it kinda surprised us. We were downloading an update on the net
so our home phone was busy. When we had gone in to the doctor, he
had insisted on taking Mark's cell phone even tho we told him it
was rarely turned on and we only carried it for emergencies. As
it turned out, Mark was intending to call our next door neighbor
while we were downloading and had turned it on.
He told Mark that he had received the results of the blood work
Mark had just had done. Since it was Saturday and Mark's cell phone
we suspected it might not be good news. As it turned out,
the doctor just couldn't wait to tell Mark how well the reports
had turned out. "Whatever you're doing,
keep doing it!" he said. He was very pleasantly surprised
to see that the Hepatitis B was undetectable and the Hepatitis C
had gone from 9,170,000 viral count to around 2,000,000.
About a 7,000,000 drop!!!
This has been an awesome spiritual experience for the two of us.
First of all, the blow of learning the news of the illness and the
peace we had about it which was the big surprise. Then, when we
prayed for the right doctor and got Dr. Aviles, who although trained
as a traditional medical doctor, has been willing to monitor Mark
as we preferred the alternative treatment and rejected traditional
treatment right off the bat. He has even agreed that the traditional
treatment gives only temporary benefits not even equal to the disastrous
side effects.
We believe this is a witness to the doctor, both of faith and the
use of natural methods.
