Last week my ferratin counts was 950 - this week it is 705 with an iron count of 250 - my doctor who deosn't know much about hep c says he thinks the hep has nothing to do with this - and that it's hemocromotosis.

He also days to stay away from taking vitamin c - have you heard this? I am taking the 16 inotiols aday as you suggested - and I just got an order of Vitalyzym - should I start on that too

Hi:

There is a test for hemocromotosis. Either you have it or you do not. It is a inherited disease that causes iron retention. It is rare and almost no one has it. This is hep c. Doctors are in the dark here.

Regardless, IP6 lowers ferritin and iron and that looks very obvious in you case.

Keep it up !

You should take vitamin C to tolerance, it is very good for hep c. If your colon bleeds from vitamin c then stop but that is extremely rare.

In good health
