| Hi Lloyd.
I just got my lab report back.
In June, 04 (6 mos post PegIntron/Ribiviran) my ALT's went back
up to 54 after being normalized during treatment. My viral load
was then 93100 (reference range from this lab was Less than 50).
However the reference range on the most recent lab is is less than
615, the same standard that was used throughout my interferon year.
I don't know the difference on how to interpret these and will ask
a doctor. The viral load was 155,900 on this most recent report
that I got back today.
The previous post treatment lab test was in mid June of
this year. I started Thymus and herbs beginning of Oct. (with some
of the herbs in September) So ultimately where the viral load really
was in October is not clear.
Now for the good news:
My ALT's are 19.
:-)
Here's to a Victorious New Year,
Cheers,
Fred
Hi Fred:
When one stops interferon the viral load will rise to a plateau.
It takes 6 months to 2 years before it stops. I see it every day.
It usually goes up three times baseline before it levels off.
I am happy that your ALT went to 19! Nice drop from 54.
Happy New Year!
