I am hoping that you can help me with some answers concerning Peg-intron and Rebetrol therapy to treat Hepatitis C.

I was first diagnosed with Hep-c in 2003. My doc started me out on i shot of Peg-intron a week and Rebetrol capsules every day for six months. The treatment according to the doctor was / is a success!

Now, a year later, I suffer from chronic fatigue, soreness in all of my joints including my neck. From out of the blue I developed an Olecranon Bursitis, double vision, my teeth are sensitive to anything hot or cold ... no cavities. I am unsteady walking and have had numerous falls, fracturing my collar bone, tearing a rotor cuff. I am only 57 and feel like a hundred.

One morning I awoke with my right hand swollen to the size of a catchers mitt. I am anemic. I suffer from anxiety and depression. I get excruciating pain from time to time in my upper right chest area that radiates up to my jaw and teeth. I am seeing three doctors and they have no answers.

One has put me on 60mg twice daily of Morphine sulfate. Another is giving me Prevacid, the third 3mg of Xanax daily. I feel like each day is my last. It can't seem possible but every day is worse than the day before.

Before I did the peg therapy I was healthy, active and without a care.

Have you come across anyone else with my kind of symptoms? Are there studies being done? Is there anyone I could contact to find out what if anything I can do to ?

I hear this everyday.

Interferon damages the neurotransmitters in the brain stem where there are 15 billion brain cells.

Everything you wrote is a symptom of interferon. This is why I do what I do. The medical establishment is doing what they did to you to thousands of people everyday and denying that it is related to interferon for the sole purpose of selling the drug for money.

What you describe is why a good doctor will say to his / her patient, Interferon is a drug looking for a disease to cure and hep c is not it, Interferon is the treatment that is worse than the disease.

You can hope to recover some and with time some of the items you mention should diminish.

What you need to know is that your doctors are going to play stupid on this.

Thanks to the internet, I am able to receive the words of many all saying the same thing. The same things you wrote. This means that the doctors know what they are doing, they continue doing it, they think that their tales of not knowing or stating that it is the hepatitis c virus causing the problems will eventually cause the damaged patient to go away.

You can read here that interferon is not safe, it is not effective but is allowed to be sold because the CBER feels that there is no adequate alternative. You can try some NADH, it shows some promise for some.

I hate what happened to you. It happened to me. It happens to many and it is still happening solely for the sake of money!

You should drink lots of dandelion root tea, do some liver and body detox programs.

Stop seeing medical doctors as they are the ones who did this to you and they have no solution for your complaints.

You can try some of the natcell products, CNS may help.

I wish I knew more on how to reverse the effects of interferon.
